How It Works

OpenKol takes a public call and turns it into receipts: a timestamped analysis you can compare and share.

End-to-end flow

  1. Paste a public post URL (X or Telegram).
  2. OpenKol normalizes metadata (author, timestamp, engagement, text).
  3. It extracts tickers / contract addresses from the content.
  4. If multiple candidates are found, you select the intended token.
  5. OpenKol resolves the token pair on the target DEX/market source.
  6. It pulls candle data around the call timestamp.
  7. Candles are trimmed into consistent analysis windows (per resolution).
  8. OpenKol computes:
  • Social score (engagement quality)
  • Chart score (post-call market behavior)
  • Overall score (weighted blend)
  1. The app renders an analysis page + shareable OG card.

What you get

  • A scorecard (Social / Chart / Overall)
  • A medal grade for fast filtering
  • A chart anchored to the call timestamp
  • A permalink you can share and revisit later

Deterministic by design

OpenKol is designed to be reproducible:
  • Normalized inputs go in
  • Defined scoring rules run
  • The same inputs should yield the same outputs
The only time results can differ is when the underlying source data changes (for example, a post is deleted or platform metrics update).
